$55,000 – $75,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Job Summary:
IACMI – The Composites Institute®, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented K-12 Workforce Coordinator to provide organizational support for multiple IACMI Workforce Development team initiatives. This position will be crucial in fostering outreach and relationships with public-private partners, including industry, schools, local communities, government agencies, private sector companies, and workforce development organizations. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is tech-savvy, well-organized, and a self-starter who enjoys working on a team focused on impacting the lives of individuals and communities through education and training. The position of person will aid in troubleshooting and other supporting correspondence needed for the ongoing success of the ACE program sites’ programs.

Responsibilities:
- Lead coordination and execution of K-12 workforce programs across multiple regions
- Manage program timelines, deliverables, and implementation with schools and partners
- Support delivery of hands-on STEM curriculum, classroom pilots, workshops, and outreach events
- Collaborate with internal teams to align curriculum, kits, and program goals
- Build and maintain relationships with teachers, administrators, and school systems
- Serve as a primary point of contact for K-12 partners and support onboarding of new schools
- Support teacher training sessions, webinars, and professional development opportunities
- Coordinate logistics for program delivery including materials, kits, and event support
- Track program participation, outcomes, and feedback from educators and students
- Support reporting, program evaluation, and continuous improvement efforts
- Represent IACMI at school visits, events, and conferences
- Promote career pathways in manufacturing and engineering fields
- Support student engagement and workforce awareness initiatives
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred; certifications and associated technical experience will be considered
- STEAM knowledge, interest, experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with K-12 programming in industry outreach or school programs
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment supporting CSS/IACMI workforce team as needed
- Self-starter with problem-solving abilities and able to follow directives and budget considerations
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Familiarity & experience with communication platforms: MS Teams, and Zoom, including setting up and leading meetings and webinars. Ability to learn new software (Monday.com) as needed
- Valid US driver’s license required with an ability to drive to meetings and events in the regional area
- Must be able to move around freely, lift-up to 25 pounds, sit or stand for moderate periods of time, and travel at up to 30% of the time with some overnight stays
- Willingness to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings and weekends as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- K-12 teaching or instructional coaching experience
- Experience with hands-on STEM, CTE, or workforce development programs
- Familiarity with curriculum development and instructional design
- Experience with grant-funded programs and reporting
- Background in manufacturing, engineering, or technical education
- Experience supporting large-scale program implementation
