IACMI Member Montefibre recently announced it will expect to have its precursor 80K carbon fiber available for non-aerospace use by mid-2020. In addition, Montefibre is collaborating with Oak Ridge National Laboratory to manufacture and further develop its ultra-wide carbon fiber tow for industrial use in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 2021.
